Ray Thompson is the Tallahassee area Market President for Ameris Bank. He has been married to his beautiful bride, Lindsay, for 31 years and they have two children, Raymond and Emma. Raymond and his wife Sarah have blessed Ray and Lindsay with two beautiful grand girls. Ray has worked in the banking industry for 24 years and has experience in retail, small business and commercial banking. He’s a graduate of The Florida State University, Florida School of Banking at the University of Florida and The Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. Ray has served on numerous chamber, EDC and community boards, he is an active Rotarian and served in the US Army. Ray is an avid outdoorsman and loves traveling with Lindsay.
