David is a strategic advisor to many leaders and businesses, an investor in an array of companies, and is passionate about leadership, technology, and making a positive impact in his community.

Jean-Luke Dubas
Born and raised under the Arizona sun, this former athlete is trading cleats for dancing shoes! After decades of wrestling, football and rugby, he’s done chasing people and now chasing rhythm and breaking into the world of dance, one step (and probably misstep) at a time. Still competitive, still curious, and always up for a challenge, especially when it involves helping others!!

Betty Jensen
Betty Jensen’s dedication to international education led her after retirement from Tallahassee Community College where she built the International Student Services Office, to Florida State University, where she continues to assist the international student population, which she is more passionate about. Her work with students from diverse global backgrounds instilled in her a desire to explore nearly 100 countries and islands. She feels enriched daily by the knowledge and cultural experiences gained from her interactions. She is very proud of having established an annual state leadership program for globally minded American and international students to convene in Central Florida for a weekend of leadership development, cultural exchange and global citizenship. Betty is a proud alumna of Leadership Tallahassee Class 30, an active Rotarian serving as District Rotary Youth Exchange Program Chair, and a board member of the Florida Association of International Educators and the Southern Scholarship Foundation.

Carrie Ley
Carrie Ley was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL. She has been a Florida native her entire life, spending a decade in Miami, Florida before coming back home to Tallahassee where her family resides. She graduated from Rickards Highschool and has a degree in International Affairs from FSU, as well as Fashion Design from Miami International University of Art and Design. Carrie recently completed training as a permanent makeup artist and enjoys learning new skills. Carrie is currently a Realtor for Keller Williams Town and Country. She is a mom to six children. Carrie enjoys being active and spending time with family and friends.

Jacqueline “Jack” Porter
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, and raised in South Florida, Jack made history in 2020 when she was elected to the Tallahassee City Commission at just 27 years old, becoming the youngest woman ever elected in the city’s history. Jack knows the names of all the counties of Florida and knows some other things, too. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her bike, watching Bravo, and being a proud Virgo.

Max Solomon
Max Solomon is a Tallahassee attorney passionate about protecting seniors and families through his elder law practice. He serves on several Florida Bar committees and is a member of the Executive Council of the Elder Law Section. Max is also deeply committed to community service, providing pro bono work for veterans, LGBTQ+ clients, and through Legal Services of North Florida. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his corgis George and Holly, and his cat Hobbes.

Louise St. Laurent
Once a spotlight-loving extrovert with 15 years of pirouettes and pliés under her belt, Louise traded center stage for the courtroom. After dramatically tossing her dance shoes (with flair, of course), she leapt into the world of law—where the performances are just as intense, but the shoes are far more practical. Now a reformed extrovert with a passion for advocacy and strong coffee (or cocktails), she’s proving that chasing your dreams sometimes means rewriting the choreography. Louise is the immediate past Chair of the Administrative Law Section of the Florida Bar and a Director with the Tallahassee Bar Association, where she channels her passion into supporting, connecting with, and enhancing legal services both locally and statewide. Whether on stage or in the courtroom, she’s always had a flair for impact.
